Born in Leeds, Kathly studied law at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, before returning to Leeds to complete her LPC at BPP Law school.  She trained and qualified at Gordons LLP in Leeds before joining Levi Solicitors LLP in May 2009 in their growing employment department.

Kathly advises on all aspects of employment matters for employees and employers, including policies and procedures, unfair/constructive dismissal, redundancy, compromise agreements, breach of contract and all areas of discrimination.

Kathly is a keen sportswoman enjoying everything from skiing to netball, which helps offset her other great passion in life, food. Away from sport and chocolate, Kathly loves to travel and dreamed of being a travel presenter before employment law grabbed her attention.
