Maria is a Legal Executive in the Professional Indemnity Department. She specialises in advising insurer clients in respect of indemnity and coverage issues and the defence of professional negligence claims against professionals. Maria also has expertise in pursuing claims in professional negligence against solicitors and chartered surveyors.

Maria has successfully pursued many claims for lender clients in professional negligence against solicitors and chartered surveyors. She has also successfully defended numerous professional negligence claims made against solicitors on behalf of insurer clients. Maria also has extensive experience in advising on coverage and policy matters for insurers.

Maria is a Fellow of the Institute of the Legal Executives and was a committed volunteer of the Leeds Cares Business in the Community Right to Read Programme for three years.
