Richard started his professional training at Levi Solicitors LLP in September 2001, and qualified as a Solicitor at the firm in 2003.

Since 2004 Richard has managed the new-build arm of the firm's residential property department. As a result of the growth and success of the new-build department. Richard was promoted to Partner in November 2007.

Together with an outstanding and dedicated team, Richard is recommended to the purchasers of new homes across Yorkshire by the majority of the largest national housebuilders. Clients are recommended to us on the strength of our expertise, outstanding customer care, and competitive pricing. Because we work so effectively in this niche area of law, clients benefit from instructing us and housebuilders undoubtedly benefit from recommending us.

Richard specialises in all forms of new-build residential property purchase work, including particular expertise in government and developer “shared equity” schemes. Richard also has a wealth of experience in all other forms of residential property work: sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, equity release schemes, and affordable housing schemes.

Richard is also actively involved in the firm’s recently launched Sports Law department, and is one of three solicitors at the firm who are Registered Lawyers under the FA's Football Agent Regulations.

Richard is also involved actively in marketing and business development at the firm, with a particular emphasis on social media (in particular Twitter and LinkedIn).

Richard is married and has two sons (who keep him very busy!), and is an avid but long-suffering supporter of Leeds United.
