New recruits strengthen Levi's growing Litigation team
Levi Solicitors bolsters their litigation presence in Yorkshire and has welcomed solicitor Lidia Douglas and legal executive Karen Hudson as its latest recruits to the Leeds office of its Commercial Litigation team.
Lidia joins from Armitage Sykes in Huddersfield and Karen from Ison Harrisons. Their arrival is recognition that the team is continually growing as a result of increasing levels of work from both new and existing clients. The team now numbers ten.
The duo gives a boost to Levi’s Leeds litigation team, which has become renowned for its successful handling of high-value commercial litigation. The department currently comprises two partners, who also work out of Bradford.
Lidia and Karen will enhance the team's expertise and will focus on commercial and property litigation. Karen will also continue to specialise in landlord and tenant disputes. They will work closely with partner and Head of Commercial Litigation Simon Smith, who, since joining Levi’s in February, has helped to strengthen the services offered to the regions SME’s.
Simon Smith, said the new recruits was another positive step: “During the course of this year, we have continued to enhance our reputation as one of the leading groups of litigation lawyers in Yorkshire. We are looking to build upon that success and by attracting new talent like Lidia and Karen to our existing team; we aim to improve our standing even further.”
