Simon studied law at Leicester University and qualified at Elliot Mather in December 1996. Previously he worked with Irwin Mitchell in Sheffield before joining Levi Solicitors as a partner in February 2007, within their commercial litigation practice in the Leeds office.

Simon has extensive experience and specialises in all aspects of commercial litigation including general commercial and contractual disputes, freezing orders and injunctions and professional negligence. Simon is also a specialist property litigator dealing with the whole range of property disputes including, Party Wall Act matters, breaches of covenant, nuisance claims, dilapidations, possession cases and has developed a practice advising on and guiding clients through rights of way disputes and boundary issues.

Simon's approach is to always look for the most expedient and cost effective way of achieving the client's objectives in any dispute, including considering mediation, arbitration, adjudication and other ways of resolving disputes to avoid litigation if possible. The dispute resolution department complements the legal services provided by the other departments of the firm.
